At HSH, we are proud of the extensive apprentice opportunities we offer to our existing employees, to new employees and even to prospective employees. We see apprenticeships as an exciting option for both learner and employer. You can employ apprentices at different levels, from school leavers and university graduates, to people who want to further their careers or change career direction completely. You can hire someone new or upskill an existing employee.
We work with Health Education England and the BNSSG Healthier Together Learning Academy to obtain and allocate funding from the national apprenticeship levy in order to offer these exciting opportunities, whilst also offering those undertaking apprenticeships competitive and attractive rates of pay, making it more feasible for them to learn whilst they earn.
In the Club
We have showcased our commitment to developing our people by joining The 5% Club; an industry led initiative focused on driving momentum into the recruitment of apprentices, graduates and sponsored students.
Over 10% our employees are already on an apprenticeship course, with more due to start later in the year. We’ve also been recruiting new employees into our organisation with the specific view to become apprentices.
